Indigenous Ocean Day
Birch Aquarium at Scripps offers a visitor experience centering Indigenous people and Indigenous ocean knowledge with the original peoples in the region we now call San Diego County and northern Baja California.

Birch Pop-up Science
Throughout the year, the Aquarium offers pop-up science programs, where local CCE researchers join guests at Birch Aquarium to chat about their work. This is a great opportunity for guests to ask questions, learn what it’s really like to do field research, and find out if scientists really always wear lab coats.
